Das SE 122 hat eine kompaktere Form als das SE 132. Es ist mit den gleichen europäischen, hochwertigen Materialen wie Basssaiten, Hämmer und Resonanzbodenholz wie beim SE 132 ausgestattet. Erstaunlicherweise hat das SE 122 trotz seiner kleineren Größe gleichlange Tasten wie das SE 132. Im Vergleich zu anderen Klavieren dieser Höhe besitzt es dadurch eine besonders gute Spielbarkeit.
